He explains that new innovations suggest quantum computers with around 100,000 qubits could soon be capable of solving real-world problems – running contrary to previous expectations of a one million qubit minimum for such use cases.

Jonatan highlights the disruptive implications for cybersecurity, noting that widely used cryptographic standards such as RSA 2048 and ECC could be compromised in weeks rather than years once these machines are operational.

Businesses should proactively prepare for quantum advancements, as the technology’s rapid maturation could fundamentally alter risk profiles and competitive dynamics.

He also highlights the market’s rapid growth, with a current valuation of around $2 billion and an annual growth rate of 40%, signaling increasing opportunities for investors as the sector evolves.
