The Altman Solon start for graduates
Altman Solon has open consulting roles across our offices that are open to students who have completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with high academic performance. Ideal candidates have also spent some time abroad, with fluency in English and preferably one other language. This opportunity allows you to collaborate across a global team, lead client engagements, receive mentorship, and pursue an MBA or Doctoral program with financial support from Altman Solon after you’ve worked with the firm for at least two years.


Internships at Altman Solon
Altman Solon offers internship opportunities for students pursuing their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Students join the Altman Solon team for two to three months to support exciting client projects, engage in important business development initiatives, and explore what a career in consulting can look like. Our internships provide you with mentorship by an experienced consultant, exposure into the business of strategy consulting and the TMT industry, and experience contributing to client-facing work on one or two specific projects alongside a global team.

Americas
If you are a current student attending a school where we recruit on campus, please note that you must submit an application through your career center, not our online portal. APAC
If you’re pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sydney or Singapore, here are our campus timelines:
Sydney:
- Graduate Roles: Applications open in January; interviews in March (2 rounds of 3 case study interviews).
- Summer Internships: Applications open in June; interviews in August (3 case study interviews). Internships run November-February (a minimum of 10 weeks).
Singapore:
- Internships: Applications open in July for internships running January-December (a minimum of 10 weeks). Interviews include 3 case study interviews.
Europe
If you’re pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit, our internship program is the perfect opportunity for you to gain real-world experience in the TMT sector. Prior experience is a plus, but not essential. We’re committed to providing comprehensive training and fostering your professional development.

Following a review of your application by our team, successful candidates will participate in several interview rounds, including case studies and behavioral interviews, to assess their fit with our team and discuss the demands of the role.

Thorough preparation is essential for success in our interview process. Before your interview, we recommend you review the following:
- Case interview preparation: Familiarize yourself with the structure of case interviews, common frameworks, and effective problem-solving techniques.
- Behavioral questions: Prepare specific examples to demonstrate your problem-solving skills, your teamwork experience, and your capacity to adapt to challenging situations. Think about your motivation for TMT and strategy consulting in general.

What are the key skills and attributes you look for when recruiting interns?
We seek individuals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A passion for technology and an understanding of the TMT sector are beneficial. You can develop these skills through both internships and self-study. Consider participating in case preparations or seeking opportunities to develop your top-down communication skills.

A typical day or week is dynamic and fast-paced, varying depending on project demands. You can expect to spend time analyzing data, conducting research, developing presentations, collaborating with team members, and engaging directly with clients.
