Boston―Altman Solon, the leading global strategy consulting firm focused on the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) sectors, has promoted telecom expert Daniel Granoff to Partner in the Boston office.

“Daniel has been a major contributor to our transformation into a true global strategy consulting firm over the past decade,” said Altman Solon Managing Partner Rory Altman. “Through his expertise working with regional broadband companies and their investors, Daniel has helped Altman Solon clients develop, raise capital, and implement turnaround plans that resulted in billions of dollars of investment in new fiber optic networks to bring broadband to millions of Americans. Daniel’s commitment to both our clients’ success and our team members’ professional development exemplifies our firm’s values.”

Granoff advises the firm’s TMT clients in strategy, marketing, sales, and M&A. In particular, Granoff has deep sector expertise in strategic and legacy wireline networks and has assisted numerous operators and investors with planning and executing residential and commercial fiber strategy engagements. He has advised on growth planning, public-private partnerships and subsidized opportunities, pricing and product strategy, and sales channel optimization, among other topics.

In 2014, Granoff joined Altman Vilandrie & Company, which merged with European-based Solon Consulting in July 2020. Granoff earned a B.A. in History from Harvard College.
