Modern Slavery Statement
Introduction
We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain. This statement highlights the key activities we have undertaken during this financial year to combat modern slavery in our organisation and supply chain.
Our structure
We are the world’s largest global strategy consulting firm with an exclusive focus on the TMT sector. We are a group of subsidiaries that operate throughout the world and our ultimate parent company is Altman Solon, LP. Altman Solon, LP has its head office in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The Altman Solon group has over 600 employees and operates in ten (10) countries worldwide. The group is currently in an expansion phase and may expand into new countries in the coming years.
Given the nature of the services we provide as a professional services firm and the professional workforce we employ, we consider the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our organisation to be low.
Our policies, training and commitments relating to modern slavery and human trafficking
We have appropriate policies in place that underpin our commitment to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our policies include global and regional employee handbooks covering professional standards and ethics (which our partners and employees are required to acknowledge to confirm their understanding) and a vendor code of conduct. We continuously review and update all our policies reflecting our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity.
We also provide training to our staff on bribery, anti-corruption and ethics. Every firm member is responsible for raising concerns about values, ethics, professional conduct, and any potential violation of laws or firm policies, and has the right to do so in good faith without fear of retaliation.
We provide fair wages for those who work for us and on our behalf, and we have no tolerance for the use of child or forced labour practices in our business or supply chain.
Due diligence processes for modern slavery and human trafficking
Given the nature of our business, our suppliers are primarily expert networks, research and data providers, meaning the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain is low. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our ethics, our internal operations team monitors the engagement and onboarding of new vendors, including the negotiation of appropriate agreements.
No infringements or violations have been reported this year in our operations or direct supply chain.
We remain committed to continually improving our practices to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chains. We maintain this commitment as the business expands into other countries worldwide.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year end 31 December 2023. This statement applies to Altman Solon LLP and has been approved by Altman Solon LLP.
