MUNICH — Altman Solon, the world’s largest strategy consulting firm focused exclusively on the telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) sectors, announced today that software and IT services expert Dr. Udo Bauer has joined the firm as a Partner in its Munich office.
Bauer brings 17 years of experience advising clients across software and IT services as well as fiber. He specializes in commercial excellence, operating model design, full potential programs, and international expansion strategies.

Prior to joining Altman Solon, Bauer spent his career at Bain & Company, including five years as a Partner, advising clients on TMT strategy and transformation. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from the European Business School and holds a PhD in Technology Management from the University of Regensburg.
