Altman Solon acquires Australian TMT strategy consulting firm Venture Consulting

Justin Jameson and David Bornstein to lead Altman Solon’s Australia/New Zealand operation.

Sydney – Altman Solon, the largest global strategy consulting firm focused exclusively on Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT), today announces its acquisition of Venture Consulting, the largest TMT specialist consulting firm in Australia and New Zealand.

Venture Consulting will start operating as part of Altman Solon in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) today under the leadership of two of the region’s most experienced and well-respected TMT advisors: Justin Jameson, founder of Venture Consulting, and David Bornstein, prior a leader of Oliver Wyman’s ANZ Communications, Media, and Technology practice. As part of the acquisition, all of Venture Consulting’s employees will join Altman Solon.

With today’s announcement, Altman Solon now has 11 offices worldwide, including a new office in Singapore which opened earlier this year. The new Sydney and Singapore offices now serve as dual Asia Pacific (APAC) hubs for the region’s growing demand for clear, rapid, and tailor-made solutions for companies and investors active in TMT sectors.

As the world’s largest global strategy consulting firm with an exclusive focus on the TMT sectors, Altman Solon has worked with major telcos, media firms, and technology providers as well as leading global investors across 100 countries and six continents. Venture Consulting has been advising leading TMT companies across Australia and New Zealand for the last 11 years. This deal marks the culmination of a successful, long-running client services partnership between Altman Solon and Venture Consulting.
