Milan Reception

Welcome to Milan

Our office is located in the 16th century “Palazzo Recalcati” which used to be the Milanese home of a noble Italian family and has now been turned into a beautiful office building within a short walk to the iconic Piazza Duomo. The office today hosts 25 permanent employees in 660m2 distributed across a reception area, single offices, two open spaces, a project room, meeting rooms, and a kitchen / internal gathering space.

Partner Emil Arnell  launched the Italian office over five years ago. Emil joined us with a wealth of global TMT know-how and experience in the local Italian TMT market as well as across Europe. He has led advisory work on numerous high-profile Italian transactions as well as strategic and regulatory assignments.

Riccardo Consani is also a Partner in the Milan office. With over 20 years of experience, he joined Altman Solon in 2022 having spent almost his entire career in TMT consulting, working across EU, Turkey, Middle East and LatAm. He focusses on issues facing global media and telco clients, including mobile infrastructure, broadcasters and pay TV, and digital publishing.

Partner Federico Torri commutes between our Milan and Zurich offices. He has over 15 years of consulting experience in the local and global TMT sector, spanning transactions, strategy and regulatory projects. Federico has steered an array of large-scale, inorganic transformations, and has been at the helm of complex M&A transactions / industry mergers, carve-outs, while also leading pivotal strategy projects.

Giulia Strusi is an Associate Partner in the Milan office. For over 10 years Giulia has been working in telecommunications consulting with a focus on fixed and wireless infrastructures as well as business strategy, regulatory & public policy topics, and transaction support. With extensive expertise in TMT strategy consulting across the EMEA region, she advises telecom operators, media companies, and investors on complex growth and operational strategy projects and transactions.

Marco Cordoni, an Italian national and Partner based in our London office, is working closely with the Italian partner team in driving sales and project delivery in the region.

The Italian TMT market is undergoing a structural transformation on both the infrastructure and the retail sides. It is characterized by remarkable potential for further investment in fibre and network separation/consolidation, deployment of 5G, and the set-up of related business models. The Italian cloud, data center, and wider IT service industry is also gaining pace with numerous recent hyperscaler investments into the market as well as significant activity on the IT services side.

Our pledge to champion diversity and inclusion

Across all our global offices, we are committed to a culture of belonging that allows everyone to thrive, bring their authentic selves to work, and contribute their unique perspectives to the work we do. We support our diverse teams through equitable practices and the value of inclusive leadership as a fundamental pillar of our culture. We acknowledge and support the needs and goals of our diverse staff through a variety of initiatives hosted over the course of the year and led by our Diversity, Inclusion, Visibility, and Equity umbrella organization, known as DIVE.
