Altman Solon, the largest global Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) strategy consulting firm, has promoted TMT Strategy Expert, Abhi Mitra, to Director in the Boston office.
“In his nearly 10 years at the firm, Mitra has consistently delivered excellent solutions to our tech and telecommunications clients,” Altman Solon Chief Financial Officer, Steve Conway, said. “His experience in diverse sectors will continue to grow key initiatives within the firm. We value all his contributions in his tenure and know he will have a big role in the firm’s growth and success to come.”
Mitra, who joined Altman Solon in 2014, advises U.S. and global operating and investor clients across the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology sectors, including 5G and public safety wireless, residential and commercial fiber deployment and marketing, and cloud product/growth strategy. His strategic approach is driven by deep content expertise in a number of areas, including wireless, wireline, data centers, and cloud/IT services. Additionally, Mitra has worked closely with investors on numerous due diligence projects around various asset transactions ranging from regional to multi-country in scope, particularly throughout the telecom infrastructure space.
Prior to joining Altman Solon, Mitra worked in the mobile gaming space. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
