New York, NY – Altman Solon, the largest global strategy consulting firm focused exclusively on the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) sectors, has promoted telecom strategy and infrastructure expert, Jeff Johnson, to Director.
“Since his first days at the firm as a Summer Associate through his promotion to Director, Jeff has helped our global telecommunications clients navigate growth and change,” said Altman Solon Chief Financial Officer, Steve Conway. “We are pleased to have Jeff on the global leadership team and look forward to his ongoing contributions to the firm’s growth.”
Jeff advises the firm’s telecommunications clients on commercial and residential wireline infrastructure and operations. He leads operator and investor clients through business case assessment, network planning and deployment, and business transformation initiatives. His deep and diverse expertise spans go-to-market strategy, business case development, customer acquisition and churn management, state and federal subsidy evaluation, and business process evaluation.

Prior to joining Altman Solon, Jeff held various leadership positions at a software startup providing advanced analytics tools and worked as a project coordinator in a large university health system. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory from Michigan State University, and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
