Rodolfo Macarrein has more than 25 years of experience advising and leading businesses across the telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) sector in Latin America.
Rodolfo works with telecommunications operators, media companies, and private equity investors on growth, large-scale transformations, and the reinvention of operating models through digitalization and AI. He has led the launch of six nationwide telecom operations spanning wireless, DTH TV, cable, and internet, and has supported major players across the Americas on strategy, transformation, and post-merger integrations.
Before joining Altman Solon, Rodolfo led Oliver Wyman’s TMT practice in Latin America for over 15 years, and he also had experience as an entrepreneur, co-founding two tech start-ups in Latin America, including a digital fiber virtual network operator.
He holds a degree in Computer Science, an MBA, and a master’s in Telecommunications, and is a member of Abundance 360 and Singularity University.
