Soumen Ganguly focuses on wireless and B2B telecom products and services. With 18+ years consulting experience in the wireless and technology industry, Soumen is an expert in customer segmentation, mobile devices product portfolio strategy and optimization, 5G business cases and deployment strategies, wireless spectrum valuation and auction support, B2B telecom services (enterprise and SMB), emerging products innovation and business case development, wireless towers, IoT and mobile payments. He has led numerous strategy engagements for multiple U.S., Latin American and European mobile and broadband operators, equipment manufacturers telecom infrastructure providers. Soumen also regularly leads financial due diligence efforts on wireless and B2B telecom topics for Altman Solon’s private equity clients.
Prior to Altman Solon, Soumen was a Partner at Mercator Partners – a strategy boutique firm focused on telecom. Soumen holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delhi, India.
