LONDON – Altman Solon, the world’s largest strategy consulting firm focused exclusively on the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors, today announced that Matthew Walters has joined the firm as an Associate Partner in the London office.

Walters brings more than 15 years of experience in the media and sports sectors, advising clients on growth strategy, proposition design and go-to-market strategy, content and format innovation, partnership and distribution strategy, media rights valuations, operations, regulation and public policy, commercial due diligence, and value creation. He began his career at the U.K.’s media and communications regulator, Ofcom, and has since held senior roles at London-based consultancies Decipher and Oliver & Ohlbaum Associates. Most recently, Walters was a Director in EY-Parthenon’s strategy practice for media, entertainment, and sport, where he led corporate strategy and commercial due diligence work and co-authored international research on the sports sector from the London office.

“Matthew’s hire further strengthens Altman Solon’s global expertise in media and sports,” said Dan Lerner, Managing Partner at Altman Solon. “His experience advising leading organizations across these industries will be invaluable as we continue to support clients navigating growth and transformation.”

“The media and sports industries – each in their own way - are approaching a critical moment,” Walters said. “Consumer behaviors are rapidly changing, and business models must continue to evolve. Altman Solon’s global scale and exclusive focus on TMT provide a unique platform to deliver meaningful impact for clients in the U.K. and internationally. I look forward to contributing to the firm’s continued growth and supporting clients on their most pressing strategic challenges.”
